Pink Cards

The is the last of my posts from my very creative weekend. These are some pink cards that I created using MME paper and cardstock...I was on a roll.

Baby Card: I filled in the pink flourished on the baby label with the glitter pen, which you can't see in the photo, and added some white satin ribbon. The crown swirl on the background is an acrylic stamp from Autumn leaves, stamped in versamark (stamped off once on scrap paper) and then SU! Rose Red Classic ink. The versamark kinda primes the acrylic stamp to ensure the Rose Red is picked up by the stamp. Great way to use classic inks with acrylic stamps! Thanks to Kristina Werner for this tip on her blog.

Thinking of You: I cut a small strip from the bottom the the card stock and flipped the scrap over to create the dark pink stripe on top. I also added some white velvet ribbon to the bottom.

Love the bird. Is that a stamp that you cut out or a pre-printed embelishment? Either way - love it!
