Smores with Sassafras

I HEART Sassafras paper. I have been collecting lovely papers with the best of intentions. This weekend with my gals, Marisa and Janie, I not only got a ton of cards finished but also finished a scrapbook page (a 2 page spread) using some hoarded Sassafras paper. I know shock and awe. . . I finally took sometime to document my life. Okay I may not be in these photos, but I was there behind the camera. I really need to get better at making sure I am in the photos too.

I am typically a 1 to 2 photo scrapbooker, but I really packed in the photos with this one. I adhered all the photos and then filled in spaces with patterned paper, buttons, and handmade embelishements. The embelishements for this page were created using a Heidi Swapp stamp set and circle punches on Making Memories Journaling Booklet and the Sassafras patterned paper.

I am biased, but I love how this layout turned out!
