My First 2009 Christmas Card

I am a Get Sketchy virgin...Well, not anymore! When I saw this sketch I immediately thought gate-fold card, and that is what I did. I created the background using the FaLaLa paper from MM and some rick rack from a Halloween ribbon pack. I then created the center with a fun felt embellishment and paper from Making Memories. Just a warning I will be mixing Christmas and Halloween for the next few weeks. It might be a little holiday overload! It kinda reminds of walking into Michael's in September...Halloween and Christmas decor in aisles right next to eachother ;-)

Supplies:
Paper:
Patterned Paper (Making Memories); Old Olive cardstock and Black Textured cardstock (SU!)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Momento)
Stamps: Sentiment inside (PTI)
Extras: Felt embellishment (Making Memories); Rick Rack (Rusty Pickle); Circle die (Spellbinders); Sewing Machine and thread

So funny about Michaels, and so TRUE! Love this card, especially the stitching around the circle. Love all the different patterns and non-traditional colors - black on a Christmas card - Love it!
