Sketch Girls Challenge #9

The last two weeks have flown by. I have been working my tail off. The work that I am speaking of is unfortunately that job that pay the bills! This is the first time I have gone into the craft room in weeks and I hope this is the sketch that brings back the mojo and gets me out of the crafty slump. If this doesn't work a weekend with the Marisa and Janie sure will. This is what I came up with the the 9th sketch at Sketch Girls. I can't believe there have been 9 sketches already! I decided to turn the sketch into a 5.25 x 5.25 inch square and pulled the color combo from a pack of American Crafts paper that I won on WCMD over at Moxie Fab. I headed back into the craft room for some very necessary cleaning : (

Stop on by the Sketch Girl blog to play along and to see what the other members of the design team have came up with. Can't wait to see what you do with this sketch!

Christmas Cheer

Sleigh bells ring, are you listenin'? I just love Christmas. I think more than I love Halloween. As soon as Thanksgiving is over I go straight into Christmas mode. I love that time of year. Time spent with friends and family. I love decorating the tree and listening to classic Christmas songs being sung by Bing Crosby, Burl Ives, Nat King Cole...I guess I just love the classics.

Here is a close-up of the felty goodness and the script font on the red and green :

My Last 2009 Halloween Card

I know I have been MIA lately. Work has been so busy I have not been able to get anything done at home, even crafting or updating the blog. I had a fabulous Halloween with my niece and my family. My sister, my niece and I got dressed up and went around the block to collect some candy goodness. She made it up one street before needing piggybacks, and of course I was the piggy! Here is my homage to Halloween, all though it has past : (
