Messy Fingers = Fun

(I think I need to start using more lotion - those suckers are dry)

Messy also makes a cute card, if I do say so myself! This was a fun card...the messy ones always are. I started out with a mostly white paper with circles by MME, adhered a few butterfly masks by Heidi Swapp and spritz lightly with some Maya Mist. Then, I proceeded to mostly cover up the butterflies by layering some American Crafts crafts goodness with some MM stickers and stitching. After I adhered everything I took sandpaper to distress all of the additions to make them blend better with the misted background. I usually have a rough time with the collagey look, but this came together so easily. I am quite proud of myself : ) I am also excited to say, I used stuff from my scrap pile; the circle and scallop were from my scrap pile circa April 09. Thank you to Nicole at PTI for the inspiration for using scraps! Here is a close up of the collagey goodness.

Note: This card also works for the Teen Scene over on 365 cards.

Stamps: None

a girl with paint on her fingers is a girl I love! I totally agree with you. Never mind if we get paint stuck under our fingernails as long as we are happy happy happy with our creations. Speaking of which, beautiful ones you have here.
