Feeling a Little Crafty

I must apologize for not posting for so long (for those of you who follow my blog). To make up for it I am posting twice today. I got a bit of the creative bug this weekend and made a couple other cards. Once of them is a thank you card made using my new Diesel Quickutz alpha and the other was my sister's B-day card using some paper I bought a few years back and had to have.
B-Day Card
B-Day Card Supplies/Instructions: Stampin' Up Exclusive Sizzix Die, Heidi Swapp Flower, May Arts satin ribbon, Autumn Leaves bag of buttons and hero arts bling. I folded white textured cardstock in half (folded height is 4.25 in and width is 5.5 in). I placed the folded paper on the Sizzix die so the cutting portion of the die on one end was showing as to not cut the folded edge. I also used the die to cut the patterned paper and then trimmed along the perforated line made by the die.
Thank You Card
Thank you card Supplies: Stampin' Up Cool Caribbean, Old Olive, and Chocolate Chip cardstock. Diesel and Rockstar Quickutz Dies. American Crafts Patterned Paper. Prima flowers and SU! scallop punch.
