We are finishing up the last of our paper challenges. The rules:
- Swap 1 - 12" x 12" sheet of patterned paper with one other person from the group of 5.
- Create what ever you can out of the sheet of paper you received from someone else and make sure you make one for everyone.
- Bring in your cards to swap.
This one was very difficult for me (a swatch of the patterened paper is pictured above). I couldn't use my typical templates, and I had a rough time with the pattern on the paper. I decided to make a set of Fashion cards by using purse dies and a dress form die from Sizzix to cut out the patterned paper. I like the crisp look of the patterned paper against the white background. I added a little detail with some bling on the die cuts, and also wrote a sentiment and drew a box to outline each card base. I had a good handwritting day, so I took full advantage. Can't wait to see what everyone else came up with!!!
Supplies:
Paper: Watercolor paper (Archiver's); Basic Black cardstock (SU!); Patterned Paper (Unknown)
Ink: None
Samps: None (I can't believe it either)
Extras: dies (Sizzix), black 005 Pen (Zig); Black Bling (JoAnn's); Silver Bling (Mark Richards); Apron Lace Punch (Fiskars)
