Happy Harvest
I had a Halloween/Thanksgiving card exchange this month with the gals at work. I found this super cute pumpkin in the dollar bin at Michael's last month and just had to ink this sucker up. I really fought the urge to make a Halloween card...I {heart} Halloween. I had to tell myself I know I will make a few different Halloween cards, the spookier the better, and will most likely not send out Thanksgiving cards. Anywho. That what was going through my brain when I made this card.
I colored the pumpkin with Copics on the kraft paper. I love how this looks. The colors remain vibrant and has a unique opaque look once the colored image is dry. Warning: Copics when colored on kraft cardstock dry much brighter than they appear when you first color. To determine the colors I wanted to use I put a few test marks on a piece of scrap kraft cardstock, let it dry, and then colored the pumpkins. I inked the edges with white ink and then mounted the image on bits of patterned paper. I just had to bust open paper that Cath sent me for being one of the winners of the Rainy Day challenge at Moxie Fab. Okay, enough rambling. Hope you had a great Monday!

This is amazing! I've yet to try Copics or pencils on kraft, but it's on my list (ever-growing/never-ending) of things to try ;o) Thanks for the tips!
